How It Works
A Boundary Lock holds the password to an outside account and keeps it hidden until the lock period you choose ends. You change the password on the outside service, store it here, and decide when it becomes available again.
01Choose an account or service
02Generate or enter a replacement password
03Change the password on the outside service
04Verify that the new password works
05Choose an unlock date or duration
06Confirm the lock
07Lock Myself Out hides the protected information
08The user sees a countdown but cannot retrieve the password
09When the timer ends, the user may deliberately reveal it
10The user may then relock it, replace it, or delete it
An active Boundary Lock cannot be ended early
Once a Boundary Lock is active, you cannot cancel it, shorten it, reveal the protected information, edit it, or delete the locked item before the unlock time. You may only extend it to a later time.
